1. What it does
The automatic form filler reads a case file and fills official IRCC forms, mapping each value to the exact form line. It fills only what it can verify, flags what it can't, and never invents an answer.
2. Human-in-the-loop: RCIC responsibility
The automatic form filler is an assistant, not a substitute for professional judgment. The RCIC (or lawyer) must review and confirm every field before any form is signed or submitted. Meridian does not submit forms to IRCC on your behalf.
3. Questions the filler never answers
The filler never answers background or declaration questions (refusals, criminal history, military service and similar). Your RCIC answers those. Education, employment and personal history are filled from the file and must be reviewed.
4. Accuracy & no guarantee
We map to current line definitions and run a stale-form watcher, but you must verify the form version and every value. We do not guarantee any outcome; after your review, responsibility for submitted content rests with the submitting professional.
5. Source forms
The tool uses official IRCC forms; always confirm you are filing the version IRCC currently requires.
6. Data use
Form data stays in your firm's tenant under the Privacy Policy, the Data Processing Addendum, and the Storage & Data Retention Policy; it is never used to train third-party models. AI features are provided as "Meridian AI."
7. Not legal advice
Filling a form is a clerical aid, not legal advice; advice comes from your RCIC or lawyer.
8. Fair use
Auto-fills are counted per plan (see the Pricing Terms).

10. AutoFile for Chrome
AutoFile is our extension for Google Chrome, published on the Chrome Web Store. It fills IRCC's online portal pages from the case file, page by page as each one is mapped. Pages that are not mapped yet are left for you to fill.
The rules in this policy apply to AutoFile too. It is an assistant, not a substitute for professional judgment. Your RCIC (or lawyer) must review every page before it is saved or submitted, and must answer the background and declaration questions personally. AutoFile does not submit anything to IRCC: the person signed in to the portal does.
